Delete your account
You can permanently delete your JobStar account and personal data at any time. This page explains how, what gets removed, and what we are legally required to keep. It applies to both the JobStar candidate app and the JobStar Employer app.
Option 1 — Delete in the app
- Open the JobStar app and sign in.
- Go to the Profile tab.
- Tap “Delete account”.
- Type DELETE to confirm.
Your account is removed immediately and you are signed out on all devices.
Option 2 — Request by email
- Email us at support@abservetech.com.
- Use the subject “Account deletion request”.
- Include the email or phone number on your account.
- Tell us which app (Candidate or Employer).
We verify and complete email requests within 30 days.
What we delete
- Your account and login credentials
- Your profile, resume, and personal details
- Company details and job posts you created (employers)
- Applications, shortlists, and saved items
- Push-notification tokens and notification history
What we keep
We retain anonymised transaction records and GST tax invoices for the period required by law. These no longer identify you and are kept solely for legal and accounting compliance.
